Eurocine
Eurocine are not particularly noted for gialli, nor good films for that matter, but they did put out a fair number of Jess Franco's films, including The Awful Dr Orloff.
Anyone else seen the truly dire BLACK GOLD DOSSIER directed by Luigi Batzella?I usually enjoy Batzella's sleazy outings but this was painfully bad,avoid at all costs :-)
I haven't seen Black Gold Dossier, only The Beast in Heat, which I enjoyed in a chalk another video nasty off the list way, and Nude for Satan, which has that ersatz Polselli charm to it.
Checking his credits, I'm now also wondering if I've seen The Devil's Wedding Night - that it has Rosalba Neri as a Bathory-alike would make me think I would remember it...
NUDE FOR SATAN is amazing,a real favorite of mine. I got the Midnight Video dvd of DEVILS WEDDING NIGHT last week and i found it had a sort of sleazy Hammer feel to it,didn't enjoy it as much as NUDE though.Worth checking if you get the chance.
