It is Suspiria - the comment, admittedly made in passing, is in comparison to Bellocchio's In the Name of the Father and the lighting effects he gets using stained glass.
Obviously Bava would be a better point of comparison there as far as the cult cinema audience is concerned, but needless to say he's not the kind of film-maker who is going to pop up in a book about the New Italian cinema...
